| A Chinese character consists of stroke and component. Some Chinese characters that cannot be separated are called “single character”, e.g. 日(sun), 水(water), 人(person), 口(mouth), etc. others that can be separated into some smaller parts are called “compound character”, e.g. “汉” in “汉语(Chinese language)”, which is composed of two parts: “シ(water)”and “又(again)”; “语”is composed of “言(talk)”and “吾(I)”. |
