        2008年奥运会日益临近了。在北京，无论男女老幼都很关心并积极参与其中，96岁高龄的李淑芬就是其中一员。李淑芬老人自北京申奥成功以来，用六年时间精心制作了200多本剪纸集，祝福北京奥运。老人所剪的都是中国经典名著中的人物和故事，每一幅精美的作品都透着她对中国传统文化的理解。甚至北京奥组委主席刘淇知道此事后，也亲自拜会了她，打算将她的剪纸作为国家级礼品，赠送给各国体育代表团。李淑芬知道此事后高兴极了，因为她终于实现了向全世界传达中国人热爱生活、热爱和平的愿望。
